Kostjantyn Volodymyrowytsch Rjabenko ( Ukrainian Костянтин Володимирович Рябенко ; born April 26, 1983 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Krywbass in the Ukrainian ice hockey league since 2016 .

Career

Kostjantyn Ryabenko began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Sokil Kiev . For the second team he ran in the 1999/2000 season in the B-Group East European Hockey League . In 2000 he moved to HK Kiev , who played in the A group of EEHL. He gained his first international experience at the age of 18 with Krylja Sowetow Moscow , for whose second team he played in the Pervaya League . After returning from Russia, he developed into a wanderer between the Ukrainian clubs, always returning to his regular club Sokil Kiew, for whom he last played again in 2013/14 and with whom he became Ukrainian champion in 2004 and 2008. With Dniprowskje Wolki Dnipropetrowsk he was Ukrainian runner-up in 2005, also with HK Berkut in 2010 and with HK Sokil Kiev in 2011 and 2012. From 2005 to 2007 he was under contract in the Polish Ekstraliga in Sanok and Gdansk . After a short trip to Kazakhstan in 2014, he played for CSM Dunărea Galați , with whom he became Romanian champion in 2015 and 2016 . In 2016 he won the Romanian ice hockey cup with the club . He then returned to the Ukraine, where he now plays for HK Krywbass .

International

Rjabenko was used in the junior division at the U20 World Championships in 2002 and 2003 in Division I for his home country. In 2003 he was promoted to the top division with the Ukrainian team.

For the senior national team of Ukraine, Ryabenko first played at the age of 30 in the 2013 World Cup , when he and his team were promoted from group B to group A in Division I. There he was used in the title fights in 2015 .
