Run is the fifth and last single release by British singer Amy Macdonald from her first studio album This Is the Life . The song was released in the United Kingdom on March 3, 2008. The song was written by Amy Macdonald herself and produced by Pete Wilkinson. On the cover she wears a black and white striped top and looks the viewer straight in the eye. The 3-track single also contains the songs Youth of Today (Live from SWR3 New Pop Festival 2008) , Dancing in the Dark (Live from SWR3 New Pop Festival 2008) and the music video for Run as B-sides The 2-track single contains the song Rock n Roll Star (Acoustic) as the B-side.
