song

About the song, Amy Macdonald said:

“I saw Pete Doherty's first concert in Glasgow after he left the Libertines. It was a great night - he did a little acoustic thing at the aftershow party and we joined in. Then me and my friends went to one house and just sat there, passing the guitar around and singing songs. It was a brilliant night. The next morning I wrote the song "This Is the Life" about it because I realized: This is life. "
