Rupert Kroisleitner
Rupert Kroisleitner (* 1939 in Wenigzell ) is an Augustinian canon (CRSA) , emeritus provost of the Augustinian canons of Vorau and consistorial councilor .
Life
Rupert Kroisleitner came after graduation in the Vorau one. He was ordained a priest on July 3, 1966. On July 16, 1970, he was elected 54th provost, an office he held until 2000. After he was appointed monastery dean in 2002, he was in the consistory of the Graz-Seckau diocese , chairman of the Styrian order conference and on the board of the Austrian Superior Conference . In 2003 he was together with Archabbot Edmund Wagenhofer OSB Apostolic Visitator of the Premonstratensian Canons of Geras , as Abbot Joachim Angerer was accused of having led the Geras Abbey into over-indebtedness through extensive renovations.
He studied forestry at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna .
