Ruppenrod is a small district of Isselbach in the Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate . The place has about 60 inhabitants and is on the same level as the Wiesenbach , a small tributary of the Gelbach .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1402 as Rubbinrode in a document of the Florinstift and belonged to the ban of Montabaur . Until the beginning of the 19th century, Ruppenrod belonged to the county of Holzappel .

On December 31, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Ruppenrod was incorporated into Isselbach.

The population developed as follows in the 19th and 20th centuries: 1843: 53 inhabitants, 1927: 61 inhabitants, 1964: 56 inhabitants.
