Ruprecht von Kaufmann
Ruprecht von Kaufmann (born February 28, 1974 in Munich ) is a German contemporary painter.
Life
Ruprecht von Kaufmann studied painting and illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena , California , which he graduated with honors in 1997. He worked in Los Angeles and New York , and since 2003 in Berlin .
He has received several awards for his work, including the large sponsorship award from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Else Heiliger Foundation) in 2007 , which was followed by an extensive solo exhibition, and the sponsorship award from the Woldemar Winkler Foundation. His works are already represented in some of the world's most important collections, such as the collection of contemporary art of the Federal Republic of Germany Bonn .
