Ruslan Hadschismelowitsch Zalikow ( Russian Руслан Хаджисмелович Цаликов ; born July 31, 1956 in Ordzhonikidze , North Ossetian ASSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian politician and since 2015 First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Life

Zalikow studied economics from 1973 to 1978 at the North Ossetian State University " KL Chetagurow " in Ordzhonikidze. Then he took an aspirantur at the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics in Moscow until 1983 . From 1983 to 1987 he worked as assistant to the chair of labor economics , teacher and deputy to the dean of the business faculty of the North Ossetian State University. From 1987 to 1989 he worked as the deputy general director for economic issues of the furniture production association "Kazbek" in Ordzhonikidze and from 1989 in the public service. From 2000 to 2005 he was appointed as Deputy, from 2005 to 2007 as State Secretary and Deputy, and from 2007 to 2012 as First Deputy of the Minister for Disaster Management.

From May 17 to November 15, 2012, Zalikow was Lieutenant Governor of Moscow Oblast .
