Ruslan Kamilýewiç Mingazow ( Russian Руслан Камильевич Мингазов ; also written Ruslan Mingazov ; born November 23, 1991 in Ashgabat ) is a Turkmen football player who is currently under contract with Irtysh Pavlodar in the Kazakh premier league . For the national team of Turkmenistan he played a total of 21 times.

Career

Ruslan Mingazov started playing football in his hometown of Ashgabat , which is also the capital of Turkmenistan . At FC Ashgabat he won the Turkmen championship in 2008 and reached the semi-finals of the international AFC Presidents Cup , which he and his team lost to Regar TadAZ from Tajikistan . In 2009 he moved to the Latvian club Skonto Riga . He played for Skonto in what was then the UEFA Cup qualification against Irish champions Derry City .

He has played for the Turkmenistan national team since 2009. He made his first game in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifying against the Maldives , and scored his first goal against Bhutan .
