Rut Bernardi (* 1962 in Ortisei in Val Gardena ) is a South Tyrolean writer, publicist, translator, journalist and radio play author who publishes in Ladin , German and Italian.

Life

Rut Bernardi was born in Ortisei in Val Gardena . After studying Romance languages at the University of Innsbruck , she worked as a lecturer in Romansh , as an editor, journalist and writer. She has received various prizes and grants, including an annual residency grant from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture in Vienna (2003). She teaches at the Free University of Bozen / Brixen .

Her literary works - dramas, poetry, radio plays and short prose - are written in the Val Gardena language ( Val Gardena , gherdëina ) or in two or three languages. Scientific publications include a.
