Ruth Blauert

Ruth Blauert (* 1971 , according to other sources 1970, in Lich , Hessen ) is a German actress , designer and artist .

Life

Blauert received music lessons as a child. She attended the Erich Kästner School in her hometown and then the Dietrich Bonhoeffer School, where she graduated from high school . She studied visual communication at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences , which she graduated with a diploma in 1997.

After her studies and her first acting training and work with Tatjana Jurakowa in 1996 and 1997 as part of the Aachen Jurakowa Project Theater, she moved from Aachen to Berlin at the turn of the millennium . In Berlin, Hamburg , Frankfurt am Main , Cologne and Los Angeles she trained as an actress and took singing and dance lessons.

In Berlin she played a number of theater roles (including at the Volksbühne Berlin , at the Theaterhaus Berlin Mitte and at the bat studio theater ). From the mid-1990s she took part in several short films . TV work was also added later (including in Dr. Molly & Karl , SOKO Wismar ). In the ZDF documentary series Das Jahrhunderthaus , which describes the everyday life of an average German family, she embodies the mother Anna Müller. Blauert also works as a spokesperson for documentaries and film portraits, as well as a dubbing artist and voice-over speaker.

Since 2000, she has been producing upcycling clothing and accessories under the name of the Dobedo company, which she founded in 2003 .

Blauert, who is interested in alpine skiing , yoga , inline skating , swimming and riding , lives in Berlin.
