Ruth Petitjean-Plattner

Ruth Petitjean-Plattner (born March 15, 1949 in Frenkendorf ) is a Swiss author of books and media presentations for children and adults.

Life

Petitjean-Plattner spent her childhood in her birthplace Frenkendorf BL and then attended school in Frenkendorf and Liestal . Then she completed a " Welschlandjahr " in Versoix before completing an apprenticeship as a medical assistant in Freiburg im Breisgau . She then worked in various country medical practices, including in Oberentfelden , Sursee , Rheinfelden , Speicher and Arisdorf . In between, she spent several years abroad in Israel and Canada , where she also met her husband. She has been married since 1973 and now has a grown son. From 1988 to 1990 she did further training as a foot reflexology therapist , from 1998 to 2001 she trained as a catechist . Her thesis was entitled Transitional Last Judge First Kings Samuel Saul David .
