Ruthild Wilson , or Ruth Wilson for short , also known as Ruthild Dwornitschak or Ruth Dwornitschak (* 1961 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German singer , composer and author of Christian children's radio plays and musicals.

Life

At the age of 15 Ruthild Wilson sang in her own band called Burning Hearts. Appearances in various clubs and concert halls followed. In 1980 she went on tour across Germany with the musical Hope . In 1981 she began her vocal training at the Folkwang Music School in Essen in the area of ​​musical / pop / rock. Later she worked as the front singer of the bands Die last Rettung and Soulfamily, until in 1987 she began performing with her own Ruthild Wilson Band , consisting of well-known musicians such as Lothar Kosse and Florian Sitzmann . In 1989 she became a member of Helmut Jost's band ; she also toured with British musician Paul Field for two years. This was followed by engagements by music producers from the Christian scene such as Klaus Heizmann , Siegfried Fietz , Dirk Schmalenbach and Danny Plett . With Helmut Jost, Ruthild Wilson began to write stories and songs for the children's radio play series Christopher Kirchenmaus and his mouse songs. In 1998 their first children's musical was released under the title David - a really cool hero , which has been followed by six other successful concepts so far. The musical Joseph - a really cool dreamer has been performed 400 times so far. With a band and a gospel project choir, she helps to organize events such as the gospel night . In 2013 she was a talk guest at the TV service hour of the highest of the Zieglerschen Anstalten .

Ruthild Wilson is married to the musician Helmut Jost and she lives in Wilnsdorf .
