The Ruttebüller See ( Danish : Rudbøl Sø ) is a still water in the extreme north of Schleswig-Holstein and in the extreme south of Denmark : The 55 hectare lake is the common border between Denmark and Germany.

On the southwestern shore of the lake (on the German side) lies Rosenkranz, a district of the municipality of Aventoft in the district of North Friesland ; on the north-western shore of the lake (on the Danish side) is Rudbøl ( German  Ruttebüll ), a village in Højer Sogn of Tønder Kommune in the Syddanmark region .

The Vidå ( German  Wiedau ), a 69 km long river in the extreme south of Denmark, flows through the lake.
