Ryōta Takasugi ( Japanese 髙 杉 亮 太 Takasugi Ryōta ; born January 10, 1984 in Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Takasugi learned to play football on the university team at Meiji University . He signed his first contract with FC Machida Zelvia in 2006 . In 2007 he moved to the second division Ehime FC . For the club he completed 135 league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor V-Varen Nagasaki . In 2017 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . At the end of the 2018 season, the club was relegated back to the J2 League. For the club he completed 190 league games. In 2020 he moved to league competitor Tochigi SC .
