Ryan Kavanagh (born February 12, 1991 ) is a Canadian ice hockey player ( defender ) who was most recently under contract with EHC Red Bull Munich in the DEL .

Career

The ice hockey started Ryan Kavanagh with the Lac Saint-Louis Lions in the Québec Junior AAA Hockey League. From 2008 to 2011 Ryan Kavanagh then played in the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec, a Canadian youth league for the teams Océanic de Rimouski and Cataractes de Shawinigan .

In 2011 he took the chance to switch to the Austrian ice hockey league in Europe . In the first game for EC Red Bull Salzburg he sustained a shoulder injury in the European Trophy , which was followed by an injury break of almost ten weeks. Then he found good in the team and scored 20 scorer points in 39 games.

Ryan Kavanagh moved to the DEL at EHC Red Bull Munich for one year in 2012 .
