Ryan Keen (* 1987 in Totnes ) is an English singer , songwriter and guitarist .

biography

After graduating from high school, Keen studied Commercial Music at the University of Westminster . He first played as a guitarist and was a songwriter for other musicians before starting his solo career in 2009. In early 2010 he released his first EP with five titles. He then had his own appearance at the renowned SXSW festival in the USA, which helped him to sign a record deal with the indie label Imagem . He also appeared in the opening act of Sunrise Avenue, Ed Sheeran , Plan B and Leona Lewis on. He completed his first own tour through Great Britain and other European countries in 2012, alongside numerous appearances at festivals such as Redfest and Bestival . In March 2014 his debut album Room for Light was released , which was briefly represented in the top 100 album charts in Switzerland and the United Kingdom .
