Ryszard Zapała

Ryszard Zapała (born March 21, 1940 in Kielce ; † May 1, 2012 there ) was a Polish cyclist .  

Athletic career

1963 Zapała denied at the UCI Road World Championships , the individual race , where he was 49. In the same season he won a stage of the Tour of Poland . At the International Peace Tour in 1964 , he finished fifth when Jan Smolik won . He won the Skopenki Memorial race  (a Polish stage race ) in 1963 . In 1967 he won the Tour of Serbia . Zapała also competed in the Tour de l'Avenir and other European country tours for Poland.
