Saxon Canoe Association
The Saxon Canoe Association (SKV) represents the interests of organized canoeing in the Free State of Saxony. It was founded in Döbeln on June 27, 1990 and is a member of the German Canoe Association and the State Sports Association of Saxony .
A total of 3,633 members from 61 associations are currently organized in the SKV. Although it is a very small association, the Saxon Canoe Association is one of the most successful sporting associations in the Free State of Saxony, with success at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships. The SKV is based in Leipzig .
