The Sägemühlenberg in the Harz is about 670  m above sea level. NN high hill on the east roofing of the Jordanshöhe (approx.  723  m ) near Sankt Andreasberg in the Goslar district in Lower Saxony .

Geographical location

The Sägemühlenberg is located in the Upper Harz Mountains on the border of the Harz Nature Park, the Harz National Park and on that of St. Andrew Berg for unincorporated territory resin of the district Goslar . It is located about 1.5 km northeast of Sankt Andreasberg. To the west the landscape rises towards the Jordan Heights. Its eastern flank slopes down to the Oder . Its unforested areas in the nature park are part of the Bergwiesen nature reserve near St. Andreasberg .

Mountain height

The Sägemühlenberg is about 670  m high. Around 350 m east of its summit there is a curve in the forest, which is recorded on topographic maps at a height of 641.9  m , which is sometimes given as mountain height.
