Sénouvo Agbota Zinsou

Sénouvo Agbota Zinsou (born June 6, 1946 in Lomé , Togo ) is a Togolese author who has lived in Bayreuth as a political refugee since 1993 . There he works as a research assistant and director of the International Atelier Theater at the University of Bayreuth .

He studied literature and theater studies in Lomé, Paris and Bordeaux and directed the Togolese theater company from 1978 to 1993. Here he showed himself to be a sharp critic of the then President Gnassingbé Eyadéma and therefore had to leave the country in 1993. In 1989 he received his doctorate from the University of Bordeaux . From 1987 to 1990 he was also President of the Association Togolaise des Gens de Lettres .
