Söhl is a district of the municipality of Tuntenhausen in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim . The residents usually call their village "Sel" as this was actually the name of Söhl. Around 1800 the name was mapped as Söll .

location

Söhl is located in the northwest of the municipality of Tuntenhausen on the border with the district of Ebersberg . The Braunau flows about 500 m to the west and the state road ST 2089 runs one kilometer to the east .

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Söll in the 1810s as an anger village with 17 hearths and, probably due to inheritance, heavily sprawled agricultural areas.
