Penchen Sönam Choglang ( Tib . : pan chen bsod nams phyogs glang ; * 1439 ; † 1504 ) was abbot of Trashilhünpo Monastery and was posthumously referred to as the second Penchen Lama of the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism .
