Sören von Rönne (born July 13, 1962 in Uetersen ) is a German show jumper who has won several international titles.

Career

At the age of 10, von Rönne began riding in 1972 . He won his first dressage title at the Schleswig-Holstein State Junior Championships. There the Holsteiner gained his first riding experience . Von Rönne is a member of the German Equestrian Olympiad Committee. In 1982 he graduated from the Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium in Uetersen and studied at the University of Hamburg. Today he is a business graduate and tax advisor.

In 1994 von Rönne celebrated his greatest sporting success on the horse Taggi : In The Hague he became world champion with the team and won bronze in the individual jumping. Six years later von Rönne on Chandra won bronze for the third time at the German championships. In Neuendeich he runs a farm where talented horses are trained. The show jumper is currently living on his stud in Neuendeich. The successful horse Checkmate by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum was with him in training. Von Rönne primarily lives from breeding, training and sales. He has been married to the Danish show jumper Charlotte von Rönne (born in Lund) since May 2012, with whom he had been in a relationship for several years.
