SB 9 (locomotive series)

This article deals with the SB series 9 according to the scheme of 1864, for the SB 9 according to the kkStB scheme see kkStB 9 .

SB 9 was a group name for a total of ten steam locomotives that were taken over from other railway companies from 1864 onwards by the Südbahngesellschaft (SB) . These were the previous ones

• two LVStB - Bergamo and Udine with the wheel arrangement 1B of the kk priv. Lombard-Venetian state railway
• eight SStB - Franzdorf to Wippach with the B3 wheel arrangement of the kk Südliche Staatsbahn .
