Tjaden's mill in southern Coldinne

In Südcoldinne is the Tjadens Mühle , an earth Dutch windmill with codend, which has been in Südcoldinne since 1922. The mill was originally built in 1901 as a water scoop mill in Nordgeorgsfehn at lock 3 of the Nordgeorgsfehn Canal and served there for drainage purposes. In 1922 it was sold, transported to its current location and converted into a grain mill. In 1975 the mill was shut down. Today it is used as a museum mill. An inside inspection of the mill and the functional mill technology is possible.
