The southern Alitschurkette ( Russian Южно-Аличурский хребет ) is a mountain range in the extreme south of the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan .
The mountain range extends north of the Pamir river valley and the Zorkulsee in the south of the autonomous province of Berg-Badachschan . The Istyk limits the mountain range in the east. The Gunt rises on the northern slope of the southern Alitschurkette and flows north of the mountains in a westerly direction. The east-west extension is 150 km. The highest point is the 5704 m high Kysyldangi peak . The glacier area covers 68 km².
