Sülfija Salacharqysy Tschinschanlo ( Kazakh Зүльфия Салахарқызы Чиншанло ; Russian Зульфия Салахаровна Чиншанло ; born July 25, 1993 in Almaty ) is a Kazakh weightlifter of Danish origin.

Career

Sulfija Tschinschanlo was born in Kazakhstan and then lived in China for many years. Since she was not accepted into a team there, she also trained at home under inadequate conditions. In 2007 she moved back to Kazakhstan with Maija Manesa , acquired citizenship and has been part of the national team ever since.

She won silver at the 2010 Asian Games weight class up to 53 kg and at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in the weight class up to 58 kg. At the World Championships in 2009 and 2011 , she won the gold medal in the weight class up to 53 kg. In pushing, the then 16-year-old set the previous world record of the Chinese Li Ping with 129 kg . At the 2011 World Championships , she dominated the weight class up to 53 kg with an 8 kg lead in the duel ranking (227 kg) and also won both individual disciplines (snatch: 97 kg). The 130 kg achieved in the push represented a new world record.

doping

As it turned out during the doping post-test of the International Olympic Committee in 2016, Tschinschanlo had obtained her gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics by unauthorized means. She was stripped of this medal.
