Sędławki ( sen'dłafki ) (German: Sandlack ) is a village in the north of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , belongs to the rural community of Bartoszyce in the Bartoszycki powiat and is 15 kilometers from the border with the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast .
geography
The village of Sędławki is located about three kilometers southwest of Bartoszyce ( Bartenstein ). The municipal road leading to the village branches off about one kilometer north of the village from the voivodship road No. 592 Bartoszyce- Kętrzyn . Not far from Sędławki is the Kinkeimer lake.
history
Sandlack belonged to the district of Bartenstein (Ostpr.) Until 1945 , from 1975 to 1998 to the Olsztyn Voivodeship (Allenstein) and today to the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship.

On the Sandlack manor (Polish: Dwór w Sędławkach ) there is a classicist manor house next to the park , which dates from the second half of the 19th century and was restored in 2000. The first owners were the Puttlich family , later the Jahn family. There were other farm buildings, the estate covered about 300 hectares.
