Sœtrich ( German Sötrich ; Lorraine : Séitrech ) is a district of Hettange-Grande in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ).
history
The place was first mentioned in 977 as Sinteriacum . Then Seuteriacum (993), Serich (1157), Setterich (1601), Soetterigh (1696), Soetrigh and Sottrigh (1697), Soestrich (1756), Soetrich (1793), Sötrich (1871-1918 / 1940-44).
In 1811 Sœtrich was incorporated into Hettange-Grande.
