Martin Aichmann

Martin Aichmann (born September 13, 1550 in Schorndorf ; † January 16, 1616 in Dresden ) was a German lawyer and theologian and Chancellor of Württemberg.

Martin Aichmann studied in Tübingen and Wittenberg and was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD. From 1579–1582 he was councilor to Margrave Georg Friedrich von Brandenburg-Ansbach . 1582–1601 he was in the service of Duke Ludwig von Württemberg as councilor, vice chancellor and chancellor (1591 to 1601) and as a councilor (1593). In 1601 he moved from Stuttgart to Dresden, where he was elected secret councilor to administrator Duke Friedrich-Wilhelm von Sachsen-Weimar . From 1603 he lived at the court of Elector Christian II . a. for viticulture.
