Sarar ( proper spelling : SARAR ) is a fashion brand based in Eskişehir , Anatolia that makes and sells premium clothing, accessories and home textiles.

history

The company was founded in the 1930s when Abdurrahman Sarar was striving to create a long-lasting brand: Sarar is by far the largest textile manufacturer and the best-known fashion label in Turkey .

Over the years, Sarar developed into a fashion brand. It was continued by the brothers Cemalettin, Celaleddin and Sabahattin, who took over Sarar from their father. This company is being continued in the third generation by Gözde, Emre and Emir Sarar. Sarar started trading in 1944. Today the company operates in the fashion and textile industry in 48 countries on five continents.

Sarar's manufacturing facilities are located in the industrial area of ​​Eskisehir, Turkey. Sarar models and creations are manufactured in three factories on a total area of ​​approx. 120,000 m². Another production facility is located in Eskişehir-Kütahya. Home textiles and shirts are produced here on 235,000 m² . The Sarar Women collection is made in Istanbul-Bomonti.

Sarar has around 5,000 employees.

Sarar has 320 stores and 600 sales outlets in the domestic market. Sarar now has a sales network of 71 concept stores in the foreign market , including 20 in Europe, 11 in the USA and 40 in other countries. Further sales outlets are located in Russia, Egypt, the Middle East and the Gulf States . In Germany there are branches in Berlin, Frankfurt, Oberhausen, Bremen and Düsseldorf.

In addition, the subsidiaries Sarar Europe GmbH in Germany, Sarar USA Inc., OOO Sarar Tekstil in Russia and Sarar Shanghai Inc. in China were founded with 100% equity and control the global sales and distribution of the Sarar brand. Sarar Gusto International Company Ltd. also operates. in Israel as a joint venture with a Sarar equity stake of 50%.

Sarar Europe GmbH was founded on January 3rd, 2000, which controls the wholesale and retail trade of Sarar in Europe. The company's headquarters are in Düsseldorf. Sarar Europe GmbH opened a total of 17 retail stores in Europe between 2000 and 2006: nine shops in Germany , one shop in Austria , Spain , Belgium , Hungary, two shops in Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

Sarar USA Inc. was founded on September 19, 2001 to initiate and advance business in the USA. Between 2002 and 2012, the company opened 11 outlet retail stores in various cities and states in the United States. Sarar supplies international brands such as Esprit , Tommy Hilfiger and, earlier, Hugo Boss .

Marketing and Sponsorship

Sarar works with internationally successful models for his image campaigns. For the Fall / Winter 2015 collection, Sean O'Pry and Crista Cober were the faces of the brand. 

The brand's success continues in sports sponsorship. Sarar not only supports popular athletes and sports such as football or basketball, but also weightlifters, billiards players, fencers and taekwondo athletes. National teams like the Turkish national soccer team, the Turkish U20 national soccer team, the Turkish national basketball team, the Turkish U20 national basketball team and others are equipped by Sarar. The soccer teams include: Besiktas JKe, Bursaspor SK, Efes Pilsen, Eskisehirspor, Galatasaray SK, Trabzonspor SK, Rizespor.      

Sarar Group
