The SStB - Gratz to Laibach were steam locomotives of the Southern State Railway (SStB) of Austria-Hungary .

The 17 locomotives were delivered by the WRB locomotive factory from 1844 to 1846 in several tranches, which differed from one another in details (see table). These vehicles were the first SStB locomotives.

The type picture of the locomotive factory shows cylinders lying at an angle to enable the bogie to be swiveled out, and the wooden paneling of the boiler that was common at the time.

The locomotives of this series came to the Südbahngesellschaft in 1858 as part of the privatization of Austrian State Railways , which assigned them the numbers 831–836 and 854–864, but no series number. Nine of the machines had been converted into 2B in 1854. The retirement took place in 1860.
