The SC Partizan telephoto optics or sports center Partizan telephoto optics ( Serb : ЦC Партизан-Телеоптик or Спортски центар Партизан-Телеоптик, Sportski centar Partizan telephoto optics ), sometimes referred to as SC Teleoptik denotes the training and education center of Serb association Partizan Belgrade , on which at the same time, the football stadium of the farm team Teleoptik Zemun is. It is located in the Zemun district of Belgrade and is one of the most modern in Europe . This is why it was given the now widespread nickname Zemunelo , analogous to the Milanello , the AC Milan training ground .

history

In the early 1990s, Partizan Belgrade's general secretary Žarko Zečević and sports director Nenad Bjeković as well as stadium director Aleksandar Stepanović and coach Ivica Osim decided to build a sports center for the club. Construction areas in the Belgrade districts of Banjica and Zvezdara were considered , but the decision was ultimately made in favor of the Zemun district. Construction began in 1992 and was only completed 6 years later due to the war in Yugoslavia (1992–1995). The sports center was officially opened on May 28, 1998.

An extensive renovation took place in 2004. Today the entire facility covers an area of around 100,000 square meters. It includes seven illuminated soccer fields ; two of them are covered with artificial turf . There are 19 apartments to accommodate the teams, 14 for the players and 5 for the coaching staff. Each of the units has the most modern systems and equipment.

A restaurant with a terrace on the ground floor caters for the A team and all younger categories throughout the year. The sports complex has all the segments necessary for the functioning of a club at European level, such as: B. the changing and fitness rooms in the 4,000 square meter main building , sauna , medical center and laundry . The building also houses the press center and a leisure facility.

The entire facility is managed by qualified staff and there is also a security service. In terms of functionality , architecture and equipment, Partizan's training grounds are among the most modern in Europe. During a visit by former UEFA President Lennart Johansson and current President Michel Platini , the Träningsgelände was described as “a role model to strive for”. The association is also planning to build a three-story boarding school with 36 apartments, including a swimming pool . At the beginning of 2014 it was decided to equip the entire sports center with the latest video surveillance and a fire protection system.
