The SG Bonn / Rhöndorf is a basketball - syndicate of Telekom Baskets Bonn and Dragons Rhöndorf that in the U19 NBBL junior basketball league play Division Northwest. In the 2006/2007 season they won 3rd place. Also in 2007/2008 the team of head coach Pete Miller made it into the top 4 of the NBBL. But then I had to be content with fourth place. Eric Detlev took over the position of head coach for the 2008/2009 season. Under his leadership, the team again made it into the play-offs of the NBBL. There they were defeated by the eventual champions Alba Berlin 2-0. For the 2009/2010 season, Jost Meiworm was named as the new head coach. He replaces Eric Detlev, the head coach of the SOBA Dragons Rhöndorf in the Pro B is. Jost Meiworm was supported by Alex Dohms as an assistant coach. After a solid 2009/2010 season, another change was made to the coaching post. Jost Meiworm became the new assistant trainer at Dragons Rhöndorf . With Sascha Neubert, a new coach came from the Cologne 99ers for the NBBL team. Despite the move into the play-offs, a change in the coaching position was made again for the 2011/2012 season. Sascha Neubert's successor was the co-trainer of Telekom Baskets Bonn, Peter Günschel.

Due to Peter Günschel's contract with Telekom Baskets not being extended, Olaf Stolz, the sixth head coach of the NBBL team, was introduced for the 2012/2013 season. The former head coach of the Dragons Rhöndorf will also assist the players as an individual coach. After successfully qualifying for another NBBL season in summer 2016, Christian Mehrens became the new head coach of the NBBL team of the Bonn / Rhöndorf team and succeeded Olaf Stolz, who took on new tasks at Telekom Baskets Bonn.
