NGC 3925 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Leo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 353 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 70,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 3910 , NGC 3926 , NGC 3929 , NGC 3940 , among others .
The object was discovered on February 19, 1863 by the German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Ludwig d'Arrest .
