NGC 3950 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Ursa Major . It is an estimated 1.0 billion light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lawrence Parsons on April 27, 1875 .
