The SG Kamen / Wiehl is a sledge ice hockey team that plays in the German Sledge Ice Hockey League . The gaming community is formed from the teams of the Yetis Wiehl and Kamen Barbarians .
history
After the Yetis Wiehl were the only team in North Rhine-Westphalia to play in the DSL from the 2002/03 season , the Kamen Barbarians were founded in October 2004. From the 2005/06 season , both teams formed a syndicate and so took part in the championship this season. They achieved second place behind the series champion Hanover Scorpions, against whom a draw was reached in the first half of the season, the first in DSL history.
