The four teams played the season in the league system . Each team played a total of six times and thus twice against each other team. The season comprised a total of twelve games. As in the first season, there were two points for a win and one for each team for a draw.

Season course

Even the inclusion of Yetis Wiehl did not change the supremacy of the Hanover Scorpions, who were able to win the championship title unbeaten in their third year of play. A surprisingly strong team from Wiehl secured the title of runner-up, ahead of the established teams from Dresden and Bremen. The Bremen remained without a win in their third season, but were able to score five goals during the season.
