The SG diving system 99 is a Saxon football club from immersion , a small town northeast of Leipzig . The club was created on March 19, 1999 when the football department of TSG 1861 Taucha left, which was active in the 1948/49 season under the name SG Taucha in the Saxony State League of the Soviet occupation zone .

history

Prehistory to 1945

The development of football in Taucha goes back to the year 1847, when the first (journeyman's) gymnastics club was founded under Karl Große. The "Tauchaer Turnverein" founded a short time later was banned in 1850 and revived in 1861. Initially dedicated exclusively to gymnastics, the first football club in town was founded on June 17, 1911 in the Partheschlösschen restaurant with the “Association for Movement Games (VfB) Taucha”. The club colors were black, white and red. Since 1918 as "Spielvereinigung Taucha" at the start, in July 1911 they completed the first official soccer game in Taucha on "Polters Feld" (Graßdorfer Höhe) with the game VfB Taucha against FC Sturm Leipzig. The game was won by the way, even if the result is unfortunately not recorded. With the "FC Fortuna" the second football club in Taucha was soon founded. With the spin-off from the “Turnverein Taucha” and the establishment of “SC Wacker Taucha” in 1923, another football department was added. In November 1928, extensive construction work began on the Kriekauer Strasse sports field under the direction of Hermann Jubisch, which continued until 1933. In 1932 the name was again changed to "Turn- und Sportverein 1861 Taucha eV". After the rise of the 1st men's team in the 1st district class in 1935, the merger with the "SC Wacker Taucha" resulted in a further name change and in the following years the company started as the "Turn- und Sportgemeinschaft 1861 Taucha eV". In the course of the Second World War, all of the city's clubs were dissolved.

From 1945 to 1999

After the dissolution of all sports clubs and the transfer of assets to the city of Taucha, after 1945 there were cautious new beginnings in club life in the Soviet occupation zone . As early as July 1945, the first municipal sports community for soccer called “SG Taucha” was founded within the “Verein für Leibesübungen Taucha”. In 1948/49 the SG took part in the newly founded Leipzig District League, a season of the regional league and at the time the top division in the SBZ. Since 26 teams belonged to this season, only a simple point round was held in which SG Taucha took 15th place, which was not enough to remain in the future two-track national league.

After a reorganization in 1949 into the "Zentral-Sport-Gemeinde Taucha", it was incorporated into the "Company Sports Association Taucha". For the 1949/50 season, the game operations in Saxony were rearranged with a streamlined state league below the new GDR upper league , and the BSG Taucha came to the now third-class district league North West Saxony . In the course of 1950 the BSG was renamed "BSG Traktor Taucha". For the 1950/51 season the district league was renamed district class and became fourth class with the introduction of the GDR league . At the beginning of the 1952/53 season, the league system was redesigned as a result of the abolition of the federal states, and Traktor Taucha initially landed in the fifth class district class Leipzig. There they were immediately promoted to the district class, where BSG tractors played until 1968. From 1956 to 1963, the district class was only the 5th division after the introduction of the 2nd GDR League. In 1968 he was promoted to the third-class district league Leipzig, in which Taucha (1970 as a result of change of carrier change from BSG to TSG) held until 1977. This was followed by an interplay between district class and district class, in which TSG Traktor ended its existence in 1990.

After the collapse of the system of company sports associations due to the changed economic conditions after German reunification, TSG Traktor was transformed into the registered club TSG 1861 Taucha on November 1, 1990 . In 1993, TSG rose to the sixth class Leipzig district league.

Since the restructuring in 1999

March 19, 1999 brought a turning point for Taucha football: 52 of the 99 TSG footballers (due to the late hour there were no young footballers) left TSG 1861 Taucha and founded “SG Taucha 99 e. V. “ Achim Teichmann was elected president, who made it compulsory to return to the district league for the season after next. Jens Bruske, Michael König, Bernd Langner, Dieter Nadolski and Detlef Mikolajczak are also on the board . After 12 years, Mikolajczak made room on June 1st in the coaching bench for Henning Frenzel , 56-time GDR national player, who fully supported the ambitious sporting goals of the newly founded club. Achim Teichmann justified the choice of coach: “Frenzel is an ideal line-up for us. He is a seasoned man with a glorious footballing past and one from the region. ” The first game was played in yellow jerseys, blue shorts and blue socks, clearly banking on tradition. The football chronicle of SG Taucha 99 began with a 3-0 win against TSV Rackwitz. The relegation round was reached, but after a 1: 2 home defeat, Hausdorfer SV had to be allowed to advance in promotion. The goal for the 1999/2000 season was also the district league, Frenzel had strengthened the team with experienced players (Ben Sommer, Ingo Schroth, Frank Albrecht) and forces from their own offspring (Nico Haferburg. Rico Schöbe). None of the players had left the team from the previous year. On May 30, 2000, SG Taucha rose 2-2 against TuS Leutzsch in Leipzig.

After more than two decades, Taucha experienced district league football again in the 2000/01 season. They barely managed to stay in the league, but established themselves in the following years. The 2005/06 season ended the team in 3rd place, in 2008/09 the team was runner-up.

The club played in the sixth class Sachsenliga in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons . After an association court judgment in spring 2017, SG Taucha 99 was deducted nine points due to a lack of reported referees. The season ended despite a change of coach and the new signing of Marcus Jeckel knocked out as penultimate.

The sports facility

The club building on Kriekauer Strasse underwent its first expansion in 1972. Five new changing rooms and the associated sanitary facilities were added on our own initiative. In August 1999 the major redesign of the sports area began. Supported by funding from the Free State of Saxony, a modern sports facility was built, the artificial turf field of which was handed over in November 1999. The complete handover of the system took place in August 2000.

SG Taucha 99 now has a large lawn (105 × 68 meters) with a covered grandstand and around 300 seats and a maximum of 2000 standing places. The artificial turf field (90 × 60 meters) equipped with floodlights offers standing room for a maximum of 200 visitors. The club building includes six cabins, rooms for referees and the club's office. There is also a small field practice area (synthetic surface) of 45 × 27 meters. During the construction of the facility, the creation of a small lawn was also planned (50 × 32 meters).

In addition to the game and training operations of SG Taucha 99, several international encounters took place on the facility called "Krieke". In 2003, the German women of the U19s played a European Championship group game in Taucha, but they lost 2-1 to Italy. In 2009 the U17 national teams of France and Italy met in a European Championship group game in Taucha, with the better end for the Italians (2: 1). In June 2016, the U18 team from Saxony met a U19 team from Kosovo, who were able to assert themselves 3-1 against the Saxon youngsters.
