SK Großlehna

The Schachklub Großlehna eV , SK Großlehna for short , is a German chess club from the Saxon town of Großlehna , which has been incorporated into Markranstädt since 2006 and is located ten kilometers west of Leipzig in the Leipzig district . The women's team played from the 2003/04 season to the 2005/06 season and again from the 2007/08 season to the 2010/11 season and from the 2012/13 season to the 2015/16 season in the German women's Bundesliga .

The best results achieved by the women of the club in 2008 were the runner-up behind the series winner OSC Baden-Baden and third place two years later. In 2008, SK Großlehna also won the German women's lightning team championship , and in May 2010 the club, which was founded in 1945, hosted this tournament and was runner-up behind SC Leipzig-Gohlis .

The first women's team included Joanna Dworakowska , Kristýna Havlíková , Iulia-Ionela Ionicǎ , Mara Jelica , Anastassija Karlowytsch , Eva Kulovaná , Christina Lehmann , Iweta Rajlich and Carmen Voicu-Jagodzinsky .
