The SV Hötensleben is a German sports club from Hötensleben in the district of Börde . Home is the sports field Hötensleben , the club is in the tradition of SG Hötensleben or BSG activist Hötensleben .
Football section
SV Hötensleben was founded in 1945 under the name SG Hötensleben . The loose sports group acted briefly in the following period as Eintracht Hötensleben , with the entry of the Viktoria opencast mine belonging to the Helmstedter Revier as a sponsoring company , as well as the superordinate sports association Aktivist , the company sports community was renamed Aktivist Hötensleben again from 1952 . Between 1968 and 1979 the BSG appeared as the Hötensleben tractor .
On a sporting level, the Revierverein was already active in the Saxony-Anhalt State League ( SBZ ) from 1948 , which was held until 1951. In 1957 activist Hötensleben rose to the then fourth-class district league Magdeburg . The highest division at the district level held Hötensleben with interruptions until 1991, but the BSG played no role in the possible promotion to the 2nd GDR League or GDR League . The best place was the 1960 behind activist Staßfurt and Einheit Zerbst achieved third place. In 1958, activist Hötensleben took part in the FDGB Cup once. After a first round win over Motor Nordhausen, Hötensleben lost to Stahl Hettstedt 2: 3 in the second qualifying round .
In 1990 the club changed its name to SV Hötensleben . Since then, the club has operated exclusively in the local area of the Bördekreis. The current league is the state class of Saxony-Anhalt .
