The SV "Hildburg" Elkenroth e. V. is a German sports club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Elkenroth within the Betzdorf-Gebhardshain association in the Altenkirchen district (Westerwald) .

Time in the amateur league Rhineland
The first soccer team rose to the third-rate amateur league Rhineland in the 1960/61 season . With 21:27 points the class could be held there. The change to a single-track league could then be survived, but the 1963/64 season should be the last for the club in the third-rate league. With 21:39 at the end of the season you had to take 14th place and make your way to the 2nd amateur league.
Current time
In the 2002/03 season, the club played within a syndicate with the Elbtaler Sportfreunde Kausen-Dickendorf in the district league B Westerwald / Sieg and came in 14th and last place in the table with 22 points, with the SG being relegated to the district league C. had to. From this, however, succeeded in the next season with 61 points as champion the promotion. It then went down again at the end of the 2006/07 season, this time only reaching 13th place with 15 points.
