Saïd Bérioui

Saïd Bérioui (born June 3, 1975 in Nador ) is a Moroccan long-distance runner .

Career

1997 won Bérioui at the Mediterranean Games , the bronze medal in the 5000 meter race . At the World Athletics Championships in Athens in 1997 and in Seville in 1999 , he reached 17th and 16th place in the 10,000 meter run, respectively.

In 2000, he won the silver medal in the 5000 meter run at the African Athletics Championships in Algiers and was sixth in the 10,000 meter run at the Olympic Games in Sydney .

At the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton , Bérioui finished 21st in the 10,000-meter run, and at the 2002 World Cross-Country Championships , the same placement helped the Moroccan team win the bronze medal.
