Sabine Grohmann (born September 30, 1961 in Hanover ) is a lawyer and has been President of the Federal Office for Personnel Management of the Bundeswehr (BAPersBw) in Cologne since October 2018 .

Life

Grohmann studied law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from 1981 to 1987 and passed the first exam . She did her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig from 1988 to 1991 and passed the second state examination.

From 1991 to 1992 she initially worked as a lawyer in Braunschweig . Subsequently, until 1996, she worked in various positions as a department head in the area of ​​the judiciary and staff in the Defense Division II (WBV II) in Hanover, which was regionally responsible for Lower Saxony and Bremen . From 1996 to 1998 she was press spokeswoman for the WBV II and head of the press and public relations department . Following Grohmann was 1999-2000 Deputy Department Head for official matters in the WBV II. In 2001, she became Head of Administration for the 1st Armored Division , which had its seat also in Hanover.
