Sabine Heitling

Sabine Heitling ( Sabine Letícia Heitling; born July 2, 1987 ) is a Brazilian obstacle runner .

In 2007 she won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and was eliminated from the World Athletics Championships in Osaka .

In 2009 she triumphed at the South American Athletics Championships in Lima , but again did not get past the first round at the World Championships in Berlin .

At the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, she won bronze.

On July 25th, 2009 she set the current South American record over 3000 m obstacle in London with 9: 41.22 min.

On June 7, 2013, she was banned for one year because the substance on the doping list , methylhexanamine, was discovered in her urine.
