Sabine Loewe-Hannatzsch
Sabine Loewe Hannatzsch (* 24. June 1982 in Lauchhammer as Sabine Loewe ) is a German historian and former basketball national player .
Life
Sabine Loewe began playing basketball in 1996 as a teenager in her place of birth, Lauchhammer , and in 1998 moved to the Halle sports high school . There she was trained and due to her good performance, she was appointed to the U18 and U20 national teams.
From 2000 to 2004 Loewe studied history and international relations at the University of San Diego . After a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in international relations, she moved to the Italian association Basket Club Bolzano . In 2010 she joined the Bundesliga club Heli Donau-Ries .
In 2007 Loewe was appointed to a national team course for the first time, on July 19, 2008 the 1.89 m tall centerwoman completed her first international match in Geispolsheim against France and also scored her first international match point. She played a total of 21 international matches for Germany and scored 30 points.
In 2018, the University of Mannheim accepted her doctoral thesis on the subject of “Change in perception at East and West German research institutes for foreign and security policy, 1969–1990”. Loewe-Hannatzsch has been employed as a research assistant at the Institute for Industrial Archeology, History of Science and Technology (IWTG) at the Technical University of Freiberg since March 2019 . There she deals with the project "Environmental Policy in Uranium Ore Mining of SAG / SDAG Wismut 1949–1990".
