Sabine Richter
Sabine Richter , married Sabine Buß , (born July 18, 1966 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German athlete and Olympian who was one of the world's best sprinters in the 1980s and 1990s .
Life and accomplishments
Her greatest success was the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter run at the 1991 World Championships (together with Grit Breuer , Katrin Krabbe and Heike Drechsler ).
She also took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul for the Federal Republic of Germany : She was fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay , and in the 100 meter individual race she was eliminated in the intermediate run.
Also at the European Championships in 1990 she was eliminated in advance - also starting for the Federal Republic.
Sabine Richter started for Eintracht Frankfurt . She set her personal best of 11.39 seconds over the 100 meters in 1991.
Her oldest son is also a successful sprinter and has been racing for LAC Erdgas Chemnitz since 2016.
