Sabine Stachwitz

Sabine Stachwitz (born November 1, 1943 in Dresden ) was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice of the State of Brandenburg between 2009 and 2012 .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Dortmund in 1963, Stachwitz studied law in Munich and Münster from 1964 to 1970 . After her legal clerkship in the district of the Hamm Higher Regional Court , she passed the second state examination in 1973 and became a judge at the Münster District Court.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall , the state of North Rhine-Westphalia provided support to develop the justice system in Brandenburg. In 1991, Stachwitz was seconded to the then district court of Oranienburg , where she took on the role of managing director in 1992. She then worked as a director at the Oranienburg District Court from 1993 until she retired in 2008 .

Sabine Stachwitz is married and has two grown sons.

Stachwitz is non-party. From November 6, 2009 to October 31, 2012 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice of the State of Brandenburg, led by Volkmar Schöneburg (Die Linke). She has been in retirement since November 1, 2012.
