Sabine Theresia Köszegi

Sabine Theresia Köszegi (* 1970 in Wegscheid , Germany ) is an Austrian professor for ergonomics and organization at the Institute for Management Sciences at the Technical University of Vienna .

Life

Köszegi's academic career began in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . She then added the corresponding master's degree and successfully completed it in 1994. In 1992 she spent half a year at the University of Illinois in the United States . Between 1997 and 2000 she completed her doctorate in social sciences and economics at the University of Vienna . From 1997 to 2007 she was employed as an assistant professor at the University of Vienna. In 2006 she received the license to teach business administration there. She then worked as an associate professor until 2008. From 2009 to 2013 Köszegi was director of the Entrepreneurship Center Vienna . In 2010 she was appointed professor at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz . In 2014 and 2015 she took on the role of head of the Institute for Management Sciences at the Technical University of Vienna. Since 2009 she has been the scientific director of the Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Vienna University of Technology. In the same year she was also appointed professor for ergonomics and organization at the Institute for Management Sciences. Since 2017, Köszegi has been the council chairwoman of the Austrian Council for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence of the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology .

Köszegi has two children.

Her research focus is the investigation of organizational cultures and work atmospheres in relation to conflict management and aggression. Further focal points of her research work are:
