Sabine Zissener

Sabine Zissener (born November 1, 1970 in Gebhardshain ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

After leaving school with secondary school leaving certificate, Zissener worked as a medical assistant in a cardiology specialist practice. She joined the CDU and the Junge Union in 1992, and in 1996 she moved to the state executive committee of the women's union in Rhineland-Palatinate. In 1997 she became the district chairwoman of the Women's Union in the Altenkirchen district, where she also sat on the board of the Junge Union. In 1994 she became a member of the council of Gebhardshain , followed in 1999 by the district assembly and the European Parliament , the latter of which she was a member until 2004.

She wanted to run for the direct mandate in the Neuwied constituency for the 2009 Bundestag election, but withdrew her candidacy in spring 2008. She is in a relationship with a Turk and has a child who was not baptized.
